Background
Link Housing was formed by the merger of North Shore Community Housing and Garrigal Housing Association on 1st July 2010.
Both Boards had worked together for over 6 months and made a successful joint submission for the allocation of Nation Building Stimulus properties which will see 222 additional properties added to our Northern Sydney portfolio.
Both organisations had a strong commitment to increasing housing opportunities in the region.
The primary focus is to ensure that a quality service is provided to eligible applicants and existing tenants, according to the level of funding provided.

Status
Link Housing Limited is a Company limited by guarantee and registered with ASIC, a Public Benevolent Institution and Registered Gift Recipient. We are a Registered Community Housing Provider and funded by Housing NSW.
Structure
The Board of Management is elected by the members of the Company and is responsible for the overall running of the organisation.
The Board employs the two former Chief Executive Officer's of North Shore Community Housing and Garrigal Housing along with other staff to manage and conduct the operational aspects of the company.
Our Board
Is a "skills based" board made up of a combination of the Directors from the former Boards of North Shore Community Housing Ltd and Garrigal Housing Association Ltd. Skills include legal, accounting, senior management, social work, project management and some are members of the Australian Institute of Directors.
